Found this gem while walking around downtown while visiting for the weekend! Was seated immediately and no long wait for our food. The weekend special of lasagna and meatballs was authentic NY Italian style. The chocolate canoli for desert was great too. Mr and Mrs Boo both stopped by our table to check in with us. They even shared their family birthday cake with us! It was great to experience family hospitality from strangers! We will be back the next time we're in town.
I literally cried when I tasted the egg plant parm!!! It has been years since I have tasted anything close to what I had in New York, not only was it like it but it was better. This was the best experience I have had in a restaurant in Mt airy or anywhere close by. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food is the best that you will have. This is a must for anyone in mt airy or for those visiting!!! I can't thank you enough to the staff and restaurant. We will be back time and again!!!!
First time eating here and I had a very good experience. The food was so yummy. We had a shrimp basket, a hot dog basket, and tried the Tomato soup with grilled cheese. The waitress was very sweet and kept checking up on us. The desserts looked good but unfortunately we were already full. The guy who I assume was the owner came over and checked up on us and told us to have a blessed day. Will definitely be back here! I don’t know how it wasn’t packed.
We were out shopping and saw the sign so we decided to pop in for coffee and desert. The vibe was totally inviting and friendly! Everyone was very friendly and laid back. We decided that we were hungry after all and ordered several things off the menu. All of our food was absolutely delicious! They even brought out bread and homemade marinara for us to try. Everything was fantastic and we even ordered food and dessert to take home. The owner was great and our service was remarkable. I highly recommend!
The food at Boo's is fantastic, but the reason I go back again and again is the family that runs it. They are always so kind to my daughter, and it seems like the whole family is always together, always there. It gives me the feeling they're sharing their family dinner with me--something more special than an ordinary restaurant. Boo's family --thank you for being such nice people and such great cooks!
We are from out of town this little town was just a stop along our lil road trip... we were all starving so we stopped in Boo's after reading the outside memu... when I tell you im impressed. We were passing through after a 7 day vacation and this was by far the best food we had thee entire vacation. 1. Very welcoming atmosphere. 2. Such a friendly staff, there were 10 of us and they quickly made space for us and we're very accommodating. 3. Staff went out of their way to ask and ensure we were satisfied. 4. The pricing is really not bad at all it was rt around 150.00 for all 10 of us to eat and the potion size was the taste way exceeded my expectations. 5. When I tell you the Philly cheese steak deluxe literally melted in mouth, chefs kiss for sure. My hats off to the gentleman who cooks there. Side note he came out and spoke to us twice which was great. Trust and believe if we ever find our way back to the area we will definitely make our way back to Boo's... if your ever passing through stop in and try one of their delicious meals... wish I would have taken more picks over everyone's meals but we were so hungry and it smelled so good I didnt think to.
Just dined at Boo's Kitchen for the second time and the food was just as excellent as the first. This is the only place in town to get a quality Eggplant Parmesan. Their house-made desserts are delicious as well. Good service, family-owned place. We will definitely be back!
This is the second time we have eaten here. Both times the food has been excellent! Don’t know why the restaurant is not packed all the time! This time we had their sausage peppers and onions sandwich. We actually had tons of peppers and not all onions that you usually get at other places, the rolls were outstanding and the sliced the sausage so that it was not just one big log making it easier to eat!
